The time has come to present the new 2017 ProRACE team which, this year, has three new luxury additions, Irene Caminos, Perrine Devahive and Thomas Pechhacker. By doing so, the team will reinforce its presence in national and international competitions, and will try to reach the established objectives, which are quite simply to climb to the top of the competition and convey the values of the brand. Alongside them, will be the same riders who completed the 2016 season, Ion Areitio, Vasek Kolar, Lucien Leiser and Manon Basseville. Let’s get to know the new team members!
Irene Caminos: The 18-year-old tolossara, will start the season in the fifth position of the UCI ranking. In 2016 she did great performances finishing in sixth place in the UCI World Championship and second in the World Cup – second round – held in Les Menuires, France. Young and talented, she is ready to show that what was once a promise is now a reality.
Thomas Pechhacker: He’s 21 years old and from Purgstall, Austria. He ranks eleventh in the UCI ranking with a total of 652 points. For the current champion of the Trials Austrian Masters it is time to take off and demonstrate all his talent with the best machine.
Perrine Devahive: Belgian, 22 years old and fourth in the UCI ranking. Good knowledge of the M5 since he competed with it in 2016, this year will compete with all the support of the brand. Just like Irene, last season saw important results as the first place in the National Championship of Belgium and the third place both in the UCI World Championship and in the last test of the World Cup played in Antwerp, Belgium.
As we said, the ProRACE team will continue to count with the presence of Ion Areitio, third in the UCI ranking and bronze medal in the World Trial; Lucien Leiser, champion of Switzerland and fifth in the UCI ranking; Vasek Kolar, flaming champion of the world and of Europe in BIU; and Manon Basseville, champion of France and sixth in the current UCI ranking. All of them are committed to compete hard and try to improve the results achieved last season.
A little more than a month after the start of the new season of Trial / Biketrial 2017 our boys and girls train with enthusiasm and a lot of effort. Come on team, you have the best competition machine -MOS- and the whole Monty community supporting you. It’s time to make history again!
