As is becoming the norm, Benito Ros and Abel Mustieles demonstrated their skill, and it was the latter who ended up being proclaimed world champion. The “surprise” came from the young Swiss rider, Lucien Leiser, who at 21 years old managed to finish in second place, two points below Benito Ros.
From Monty we want to congratulate Lucien, who is competing on the Monty M5, on his commitment, professionalism and obviously on this magnificent result.
Finally, we cannot forget Ion Areitio, who has just recovered from a complicated injury which kept him out of competition for several months. Ion finished 14th in the championship but feeling very positive about the future.
