With the imminent launch of the new Trial range KAIZEN, in Monty we have decided that it is time to go out and present them in society. For this, we have chosen an incomparable framework, coinciding with the celebration of the first test of the Catalan Trial Cup to be held next Sunday, March 5th, in the Plaza de las Cascadas in Montjuïc, Barcelona. You can come to the Monty paddock where our team will be happy to show you the new models and help you with any doubts that may arise.
In addition, knowing that we compete at home, we have bet strongly with the participation of three of our riders, Lucien Leiser, Irene Caminos and Ion Areitio. In the Women’s Elite category, Irene will face 5 zones with lateral and frontal rises, obstacle-to-obstacle steps, steep slopes, and jumps that can reach 1.40m in height. Very similar but with greater difficulty will be the 5 zones of Male’s Elite. The trophy battle will begin at 10:00 a.m. for the Women’s Elite and Men’s Elite Qualifying event, and will end at 12:45 a.m. with the Men’s Elite Final.
The International Trophy City of Barcelona also coincides with the Trial Cup in Berlin, Germany. Thomas Pechhacker, new member of the ProRACE team, will compete for qualifying on Saturday at 15:00 in the Elite 20 “category in 2 rounds of 5 sections, and Sunday for the final, at the same time in 1 round of 5 sections.
As for the overall 2017 season, which stars this weekend, it is expected to be stronger than ever with new additions to Perrine Devahive‘s ProRACE Team, Thomas Pechhacker and Irene Caminos, alongside with last season’s official team Vasek Kolar, Manon Basseville, Ion Areitio and Lucien Leiser. All of them are presented as serious contenders who will fight over 9 months for the top positions in the ranking.
The key dates are summarized in the Trial World Cup and the Trial World Championship (UCI), and the European Cup and Biketrial World Championship (BIU).
